Not balloon tire stuff . . . 333 spindle was included in the first generation Dura Ace crank set. Very nice! Very smooth!

The cups were thin walled.

Later today I'll look at my Southerlands to make sure if it is a JIS taper.

It was one of the many Shimano products that built Shimano's reputation for pro quality and reliability in the 1970's.
