I have been familiar with these for over twenty years now as a result of my days in archaeology and the fact that my wife was an archaeological conservator for 15 years. I have only used the glass-fibre brushes (this set comes with some other bundles). These are great - especially at the latter stages of finishing (I have two of them). A word of warning though, make sure to wear gloves and safety glasses when using as those little bristles get everywhere as you use the pens. I have got the tiny bristles in my fingers which is really irritating - literally.
