Congratulations, Martin. I almost gave you some competition for that frame, but it was just about half a cm larger than I can usually ride, so I laid off. Wonderful details. I've just finished tearing down, cleaning, touching up and waxing my circa 1980 Zunow and am about to start building it up again. Mine is more sedate than yours, but I like Zunows of all eras. Zunow seems to have been more influenced by Italian bikes than any other Japanese marque, so I think Campy Century would be quite appropriate. You see quite a few all Campy Zunows. Mine is a mix of Campy and Suntour Superbe, so that would be an option as well. I look forward to seeing photos when it is built up.

i aquired a Zunow Z1 Frame of unknown vintage, but i guess it rates as KOF :) I have some pictures for you on wooljersey at http://www.wooljersey.com/gallery/martl/zunow/

for building it, i'm toying with the idea of locating a Campa Century gruppo in NOS or godd ridden condition, i think the dark gray color would fit nicely. If you know where i could find one, please contact me off-list!
