Hi.
I've just bought an old second hand lightweight frame with the intention of
using it as a basic commuter, but I suspect it might be worth restoring pr
operly.
Hope someone can help me identify it or point me in right direction.
The seller didn't know the make (or even where the frame number was!) and t
here are no decals/badges etc.
Details are:
Frame number: "19044 V" on the top of the seattube underneath saddle on rig
ht side, the "V" is underneath the number.
Bottom Bracket: "531" stamped in large font nothing else. Has Bayliss Wiley
cups.
Forks: "V-D" stamped on it
Frame: has wrap around seat stays like some Carltons/Raleighs - not like Ho
ldsworths.
Braze-ons: Lamp Boss front forks, Pump-Pegs under top tube. Straight rear b
rake bridge. Cyclo drop-outs. Vaughan/Nervex style lugs.
Seattube is about 26.8mm possibly 26.6mm.
