Don't waste your time Kerry, they don't have them.

BUT, you can send it to any of the professional frame painters working in the USA and have great replicas added as part of your refinishing order. The repops are made by Screen Specialty Shop, the folks who make almost all the better custom builder's decals. You cannot buy them for a home paint job however, they must be obtained though a Pro painter. See many of those on the "Resources" page? of the CR.

I recently was given an old Peugeot bike sans wheels from an old friend who is very non-mechanically oriented and never liked fooling with the tubulars it came with. He picked it up at a yard sale. Upon investigation, it is a 1972 PX-10! The original f. der. was replaced w/a Suntour Edge, the pedals are both missing the dustcaps, and the paint is all hacked up (with a dent in the top tube).

I am interested in restoring this classic and would like to strip the frame and repaint. What would be your advice on how to strip the paint? Also, does anyone have a pair of Lyotard pedal dustcaps in their parts box? I am having a colleague of mine (French teacher) translate an email for me to send to Peugeot Cycles to see about replacement decals. I am hoping my friend still has the wheels somewhere. I have to wait 2 weeks until he returns from a missions trip to Costa Rica.

You can see photos of the bike in its current condition on my velospace page:

Also, my Zeus equipped Macario is here:

Thanks for your help.
