Subject: [CR]For Sale: 23.5 inch 1978 Raleigh Competition G.S. (silver) in great shape (Duncan Granger)

Hi All, Sorry I missed Cirque this year... ironic that I moved to Texas r ight before Cirque arrived in my neighborhood!  Oh well...  I'm told my brother Ed maintained the family honor! Due in part to my relocation to Texas, I am selling my '78 Raleigh Competition G.S.  It's silver, and the size is 23.5".  That's C-to-T. For specifications I refer you to the 1 978 catalogue at the Retro-Raleighs website. http://www.sheldonbrown.com/ retroraleighs/catalogs/Raleigh-Catalog-1978.pdf The Competition was the s econd-from-the-top model in 1978 (the International was not produced after 1976).

It's in very, very good shape, and completely original, except for the tires.  There are a few small scratches.  I would rate it an 8. 5 out of 10. It functions and rides beautifully - I've owned it for three years and put about 200 miles on it in that time. I am happy to send pho tos to anyone who is interested.  Price is $350 plus shipping at actua l cost.

Or it can be picked up anywhere within an hour radius of A ustin, TX. Hope all of you are well!  Back to my lurking. Duncan G ranger Austin, Texas formerly of Mountville and York, PA one-half of the famous Granger Brothers
