This bike sat in my shop for a few months...
I had offered to clean it up, address it's cosmetic issues, and offer it for sale to the list. But the owner didn't want to wait for that admittedly drawn out process during a busy bike shop season.
The bike is basically sound, needs some TLC, but is mostly original.
Comments: - It is nice that it has the Frejus embossed fenders - IIRC it is early 1970s (I never made note of the serial number or the patent stamp on rear der.) Not sure how the owner determined date for this eBay offering. - The down tube decal was damaged at it's upper? portion by the DT shifters sliding down the down tube. The other decals are present at least in part, some having floated or smeared a bit... - The stem has been replaced with a long quill Nitto. - The Unicanitor saddle has quite a few chips & scuffs but might respond well to some cosmetic work.
I would think at $600 and a new stem and a lot of skilled TLC, it could be a striking vintage ride, albeit with a dose of patina.
Not sure about shipping & packing skills available by owner... Long distance buyers might want to be highly specific about the packing process they expect to be employed by shipper (!)
