I saw Ebay item number 300237204847 for a "Cosimo Colnago" in person last night. Only the fork is a rusty sloping crown chromed colnago, the rest of the bike is a mishmash of components. The frame has been crashed, as if hitting a wall or a huge pothole, with the tell-tale paint cracks above the top tube and downtube just behind the headset. The headset and fork were replaced likely as a result of the crash. The drive-side chainstay appears to be dented just where the pedal would have hit it if the bike suffered a severe side impact. Maybe the chainstay was designed this way? It doesn't appear deliberately designed.
