The literal translation is "rolled steel", so apparently a type of tubing utilizing that particular production method.

All, I sent the forks from my Marinoni Sprint back to Marinoni for chroming a few weeks ago. They came back yesterday and I'm very happy w/ the results, but there is now a new Columbus sticker on the forks that says "Laminati". What does this decal mean?
