This is a Reynolds decal I've not seen before. What does "Montants" mean in this context? One might think "stays", but later French 531 decals used "fourreaux" of "fourreaux de arrieres" to refer to stays.

The seat stay tops are hard to figure out exactly how they did them... At first I presumed these was a? variation on the "squish and fill" in method that some cheaper frames use.. But looking at Alex's excellent photo:

It almost looks like it was cut, ala a "bologna slice", and then filled with brazing material as are done with the smaller (lower) ends of seat and chain stays...
The fork crown is also unusual.

Looks to be a fairly normal twin plate crown but with a downward pointing triangular bit of metal added to the outside.. Neat!
