Always interesting to see a prototype that explains how a later idea came ab out. That's one reason I like the really early 40s Rene Herses, besides their int insic beauty. >>

Very interesting. My only thought is that is a lot of gap to bridge with bra ss! Maybe they have a little shelf inside or something... Anyway, it's fun t o see the variations in these details and speculate how the look was accompl ished. Thanks so much for providing us a view of these wonder bikes through your wo nderful photos!
