Schroder (proper spelling) is still in existence in Copenhagen, at least as of a few years ago. It's still a family owned business, although not the original Schroder family. The frames are now contract-built in Denmark somewhere, as the owner's family is no longer building the frames. There's a lot more information, as well as lots of pictures here:

There's pix of the Banani shop in Copenhagen as well. The bike in the craigslist post looks to be an early model, so the '72 date is probably accurate. Most of the early frames I've seen have been quite nice, and some that are still on display in the shop are exceptional. Schroders are quite rare in the US, but they do show up from time to time. Billy Rounds has at least one that I know of, maybe more, and I still have the frame in the pix.
