Not dreaming at all. Brazed on Mafac centerpulls were not only fairly common on French constructeur bikes, but also used on Thevenet's PY-10 team bikes in the 70's and available to Peugeot customers by special order. I have brazeon Mafacs on a custom Arthur Caygill I had built a few years ago.
