Hi,

I have a 1987 Pinarello Montello in Chromonero(black chrome) with the origi nal-issue Campy Chorus groupo on it, 57 cm C to T, all Euro parts (except f or pedals). Bike is immaculate, not having been ridden for about 10 years ( a wall hanger). Very minor paint chips on bottom bracket and various small nicks on remainder of frame. White pinstriping and all decals in perfect co ndition. Mavic x32 rims, Conti clinchers, Modolo Stem and Anatomic bars. Se lle Gran Regal white perforated leather saddle, silver Sedisport chain, Re gina 12-26? freewheel. I am willing to buy a pair of NOS Chorus pedals to c omplete the original groupo if this will add to the value. Pix are availabl e. What I need is a price-- a fair one-- both for me and the buyer. Not int erested in offers to buy right now. Can anyone help? Pix will demonstrate j ust how to close this bike is to mint. White decals, pinstriping, cable hou sings, saddle, bar tape and saddle really set off the "black chrome" (not r eally chrome, but a black translucent laquer over a standard chromed SLX fr ame). Like I said, it has a complete original Campy Chorus grouppo with the "dog-leg" cranks and the unusual "monoplanar" brakes as well as the origin al Synchro shifters. Not the usual C-record stuff--something just a bit mor e unusual but every bit as smooth (I know--I had the original C-record fro m that era on an old Vitus frame just prior) Bike is as ridable as it is ad mirable.

Contact me directly or through the board with advice or questions. I am in Millington, NJ (north central). Contact specs follow. Thanks in advance for any info advice you can lend in giving this classic bike a good home.
