What an interesting tandem! I'm VERY intrigued by the double rear cantilevers. Is this something people have seen and used before? If so please comment on their performance.

Main Question: Would double cantilevers likely increase or decrease the problem of heating rims during braking on a tandem?

My hunch is that it would actually increase the undesired heating and risk of blow out, but maybe some engineers here could answer the question systematically.
