Subject: [CR]Wanted: Trek 330 info

Hello All,

I just built up a Trek 330 frame that I got on FleaBay. It's supposedly from 1988, serial # T8E 52717. Stickers say True Temper RC-1 double butted 4130. Fork says chrome-molybdenum. Dimensions: seat tube 62, TT 59, head tube angle 74.5, chainstays 44, wheelbase 104.

I'm guessing that this was a "sport touring" model..it has single eyelets front and rear for fenders/rack. Right now it's set up as a city commuter 7 spd, but might want to do some longer rides or credit card touring. I think this was one of their lower end models.

Does anyone have any more info on this model? Would it work suitably for light touring? Around the city, it seems comfortable enough. Thanks, in advance.
