Wow, does that bring back memories. I had forgot about those.

As a kid I had them on my Schwinn Spitfire. Just a belt of leather with the ends connected that dangles loosely around the hub. As the wheel turns it polishes the hub. The ones I remember had a reflector on the end.

They kept your hubs nice and shiny!
