That makes interesting reading. I suppose to be fair to Mario they may have
stopped making frames by the time he started working at Holdsworths. However,
when Mike Barry started up his Toronto bike shop in 1972, he told me that he
ordered frames from Holdsworth, Condor and Youngs including the Grandini.
Whilst the frames he received were of good quality they were all identical and
made according to him by Tonard Welding. I had dismissed this after talking
to Mario and because Holdsworth themselves made a great many frames for Youngs
in the 70s but obviously this puts a different complexion on things.
