Creative alternatives are called for instead of the pain accompanying loss.
May I suggest that der hangers would be a lovely location for a piece of jewelery, a single earring.
Perhaps our listmeister knows someone who could quickly show conversions of 100 or more earrings photoshopped in der hangers. Shouldn't be hard as there are thousands of earring designs out there.
They don't have all to be studs, either. Short dangles would be nice, as would be small decorative gems to put in the holes that "benefited" from drillium during one OUR not-so-golden periods. (But nothing so bike-porn as a new Croce d'aune rear der.
Dale, I expect no greater share of the fortune to be made with this than the idea deserves.
