I've always been a big fan of 3ttt quill stems, mostly because of those little plugs. I just like the finished look. One of the major drawbacks, of course, is that they are just more loose bits to keep track of, and they tend to disappear at the least opportune moment. Another thing to remember is that those plugs are not all the same. There are a variety of different types and sizes. There are also generic plugs that sometimes work as replacements.
