Mike,
I didn't look close enough to see the domed fork and stay ends. That wou ld most certainly make the bike not a Masi. I'm betting the BB is Englis h threads. We could determine in a matter of seconds what it isn't if we had the bike in front of us. Whatever it is, it is quite obviously misr epresented. I hope no one falls for it. This is another case that illist rates why professional bike painters don't sell decals to the public.

>From my glance, the finishing by the dropouts doesn't look like Masi or what I'd expect from Colnago. I don't recall seeing Italian bikes with what look to be domed ends. Does anyone else have thoughts on this? P lus of course, the decals are not the late 60's variety.
Now, when is the government going to set up a fund to compenstate those who purchase poorly represented vintage bicycles and suffer a market los s? Its time we start selling those bicycle backed securities. (I don't mean this is a political slam - just thought the analogy would be inter esting given today's events).
