With Rene Herse Bicycles and Boulder Bicycle combined, I'm affraid by IRS rules standards we've jumped slightly into positive earnings category, - oh shucks - guess Ben won't be including us in any bailouts. Need to figure out how to loose LARGE amounts of cash, which in the bike biz usually isn't too hard.

Seriously though, it is getting discouraging seeing so many bikes mis-represented. Part of the issue, though, is that when buying a bike from even an original buyer their memories from 40 years ago sometimes aren't perfect. We just bought a Sears labled lathe from a person who was certain it was a Logan, but by no account did Logan ever make them for Sears. When I mentioned this later to the seller, who is a very perky 96 year old, he simply replied that well of course he could have made a mistake - it was 35 years ago that he bought it! And the same gent lent a bit of a hand while we were moving it (OK, he just wheeled it) - I just want to still be above ground by that age!
