Subject: [CR]Craig's List bikes

Looking thru Boston Craig's List this morning, I am struck by the number of postings for bikes that appear to be good or "customized" where the poster can't spell the brand (or doesn't know it) and describes the components as "all the trimmings," or something like that. The person listing seems to be completely unfamiliar with the bike itself. I guess it's because the bike is stolen. What do others think? Can one steal a bike and turn right around and sell it on CL?
