Mark, a tubular under the seat. Of course, that is the ultimate race bike detail. But most of mine are on clinchers so to stick a tub under the saddle would be highly pretentious. I do think most of my out and out racers should be on tubs and sprints but I find old tubs in decent condition virtually impossible to find. Plus I only came to lightweights late in my days and never owned or raced a bike on tubs. So tubs and their safe fitment is still a black art. I have done it and have repaired a few but find it a right pain.
