I am about to print some Carlton Franco-Suisse Decals. An early (subject to change) estimate from the printer is $35/set (at cost). The prices reflect the great many colors in this decal set (roughly 10), and are for spot-color, professional clear mylar decals for 8-year outdoor use. Anyone interested in a copy of this decal set, please contact me.

The Franco Suisse is the Carlton predecessor to the (USA) Raleigh-Carlton International, with chromed forks, stays, head lugs(nervex), and fork crown. There are 2 versions of the decal set, and mine is for later one, perhaps 1964-1970, roughly. The earlier one is similar, except the "Carlton, Race-Proved" decal says 'Franco-Suisse'. I can provide pictures of a bike with that decal from ebay, if you are interested. Here is a picture of the earlier bike (repainted), from the CR website :

The franco-suisse frameset differs from the international, in that it had campagnolo or stamped dropouts, under top-tube pump pegs, and braze-ons for shifters. Also, it used an Early Vagner crown with one tange, much like a modern Henry James fork crown.

If you have early 1970's international frameset, or a franco-suisse frameset, you might want to pick up a decal set for a future restoration - please contact me off-list.
