Subject: [CR]My TEN SPEEDS website...

Hello;

Sorry for the confusion I created with my Ebay listing for "Finding and Res toring Vintage Road Bicycles". I realize that I should have been more clea r.

I started this website to help people who are new to the hobby/sport of col lecting and/or riding vintage road bicycles. After selling hundreds of old road bikes, I realized that most people could use a bit of direction fro m time to time when it comes to acquiring and building a vintage road bicyc le. Originally, I intended to write a single article and post it on my o ld website, "Vintage Life Cycles", a free site that has been running fo r several years now. Anyway...

The initial how to buy a bike on-line article grew and then branched off. And that branch formed another until I had dozens of articles on LEARNING , HOW-TO-DO-IT and FEATURE BICYCLES. It occurred to me that I had more t han enough useful information build a brand new website. An information so urce to help others avoid making on-line and in person buying mistakes that I had made myself and seen many other people make as well. As the informa tion swelled, I realized that I would need a great deal of web storage sp ace and sufficient band width to support traffic. This costs money. With that and other things in mind, I decided to try and see if I could sell m emberships for what I thought to be a very modest annual fee - $10.00 USD. Hardly a great sum but something none the less and I understand that anyon e taking a chance with MY TEN SPEEDS would be expecting a lot for his or he r money.

I should add that everything on MY TEN SPEEDS is original in content. I fo und each bicycle myself. I street restored each bicycle myself. I took al l of the pictures and I wrote all of the text. My guess is that there is a bout

Anyway, my purpose for MY TEN SPEEDS is simply to help others with an inf ormation source for vintage road bicycle acquisition and restoration. Many of the suggestions contained in MY TEN SPEEDS are aimed at saving money, time and energy when finding and restoring a vintage road bicycle. All th at said, I had also hoped to create a job for myself managing the website and adding information that will keep paying members wanting to come back each month to see what else has been added. I do intend to offer value for dollars spent and I invite anyone interested to visit MY TEN SPEEDS.

Best regards,
