Well yes, they did make those cantilever pads.  I believe these were the entire shoes with pads.  But I think they also made just pads similar to the ones for Campy and Weinmann.  I seem to vaguely recall they were mark ed "M", although that might be hard to distinguish from the "W" for Weinman n.
