Thought somebody with specific product knowledge would have answered this, but here's some that's not as specific: every coaster brake I've messed with uses grease.

In fact, I learned this around te age of ten, before I realized that the bearings themselves needed grease. Thus, I had a nice greasy rear hub and a bone-dry front one (I cleaned and reassembled it).
