I'm in search of a moderately-abused pair of bars for for a circa-1973 Major Nichols track bike project. It's all done except for the bars. The bike has its original paint and a fair amount of patina. A brand-new set of bars would look out of place. At the same time, I prefer a symmetrical set - same bend both sides, no scratches all the way through the metal, if you know what I mean. I'm open to alloy or steel, as long as it has a 25.4mm clamp diameter. Widths from 39cm to 42cm are OK (prefer 40-42). Please reply privately if you have one you would like to pass along.
