Hi list,

Generous donors have come up with almost everything I need to build two pair of on-topic wheels, but I think the final donation will put me over the top, with a little help from somebody with a great parts connection.

Ronnie Edmiston has come up with a set of new, in the box 32-hole modern Record 9-10 speed hubs. I'd like to put them out to the list as trade bait for NOS Record or Maillard 700 Pro hubs to go with the GP 4 rims Gabriel Romeu has donated for the Cirque charity auction wheels.

Here are the details from Ronnie:

front hub and q r: record hub 100mm 32 hole code 99 controllo 114-6 115 code 7323120

rear hub and q r: record extra drive free hub 9 speed 130mm 32 hole controllo 915 7 215 code 7323130

both nos in box with all documents.

These are available for trade for equivalent on-topic hubs, which to my mind means NOS or VERY CLEAN Campagnolo Record hubs, NOS Maillard 700 Professional hubs (Spidel group badging OK) or Mavic Hubs. 36 holes.

I will broker the trade. I will also offer a very favorable price on building wheels around Ronnie's hubs if the trader so desires.

So now, it's not even a plea for a donation, just a clean business transaction with the potential for a profit to the possessor of the right hubs for my project.

Who's gonna be first with the best?
