Subject: [CR]WTB: 1950-1 Raleigh Clubman forks!

With apologies to others who may have been interested, I am the one who is going to take on the Raleigh Clubman which Nelson Miller was offering to the list the other day. I almost resisted, but am in need of a project and the bug bit!

The frame is en route, but from the pics that I got from Nelson it is nicely patinated - so my plan is to keep it as it is. It comes without its forks, however, and I am now casting around to see if anyone has a suitable set of Raleigh forks (preferably Reynolds 531 with chromed ends in metallic blue). The frame is the standard 22" and takes 27 x 11/4" wheels. I might be able to make do with later Raleigh forks if needed - maybe from a Sprite - but would prefer the better quality forks of the time. I am not looking for NOS - tatty is fine to match the patina on the frame.

TIA,
