Dear list,

I want to thank Gabriel Romeu, Jan Hein, Ted Ernst, Ronnie Edmiston and Chuck Brooks for their contributions. We now have the following wheelsets for auction at Cirque '09:

Lightly used, but polished Araya narrow 700c clincher rims on like-new Campagnolo Record hubs, 36-hole, newly built with Asahi double butted stainless steel spokes and shod with Grand Bois tires. High retail $675 or so.

NOS MAVIC GP4 700c tubular rims, old label, on NOS Maillard 700 Professional rear, and nearly new matching front, hubs, again newly built with Asahi double butted SS spokes, awaiting tubulars (anybody want to donate. We'll glue at least one at Cirque as a demo.) High retail $609 or so.

OK, some of you may quibble about the quoted prices, but remember, through the generosity of the donors, these are a 100 percent donation to Operation Smile, so I want to see some serious bidding. These will be wheels you will be proud to own and, more importantly, to RIDE!

As soon as I have all of the parts assembled hear at World Hindquarters, I will be posting pictures on my Website, http://www.earleyoung.com.

And for those of you who can't wait for the auction to get a pair of Earle Wheels, email me and let me know what you want. I'll do what I can to get you the wheels you have been dreaming of.

Thanks again to all of the donors.
