Greetings. It's my impression that Miyata is the oldest Japanese bike MANUFACTURER. But Maruishi made many of the Nashbar branded bikes back in the '80s which were impressive values and often quite lovely for production bikes. Billy Ketchum; Chicago, IL; USA>
