For future reference, once the auction is gone :

The 2 right-hand side cottered steel cranks are much like Stronlight 49D or Zeus Competition or Nervar / TA cyclotourist cranks, in that there is a circular 'skirt' where you might expect to find 5 bolt holes. However, rather than bolt holes, the skirt is perfectly circular and contains outside threads so that maybe a steel chainring can screw-on? And there are two C-shaped indents on opposite sides of the threaded skirt, maybe to keep the threaded chainring in place?

The pedal eyes are C-slotted with a hole threaded for a clamp-down bolt on the outside end of each crank arm. So maybe this could be used with unthreaded pedals, you just tighten down the outside bolt, much like a stem/handlebar pinch bolt?
