Subject: [CR]Offerings for Trexlertown Swap.

Listers,

I will be at the Trexlertown Swap meet this October 11th wit h an extraordinary collection of bikes and parts for sale. Here’ s a heads up as to what I have to offer, and this is by no means a compr ehensive list.

I will, if there is interest, bring a beautiful Richard Sachs Aero bike to the Velodrome for sale. It is Richard Sach's only Ae ro bike and is an aero tubed paragon of efficiency. Perhaps this is the gre atest aero bike ever made? It's certainly the only one of its kind in th e world... consequently it is available for $5000.

A beautiful Pogli aghi, 55cm, serial number is 11022 and is listed on the CR Pog timeline. It was repainted by JP Weigle and sports VIP wrapped bars and newer Athena components. Beautiful bike. Available for $2000

A 54.5cm Hami †“ short for Hans Mittendorf – made with Vitus Superlight tubing, Nuovo Record and Ideale saddle. Available for $850

A 1971 Paramoun t Track bike with original orange paint. Stunning example of the breed, 51c m c to top and 53cm top tube. Record Track, Fiame front rim and Schwinn approved rear. Serial number is L7301. Available for $3500

A Hans Lutz Aero bike, 56cm center to top, 57cm top tube. Beautifully made aero frame with hidden cabling, Dura Ace AX kit and a Kashimax saddle. Examples of purpose built industrial beauty abound on this modestly painted bike. Av ailable for $800

A Montelatici in a 53cm. What’s there to say about this that hasn’t been said on this list already? This one is painted by Ed Litton and built up with Nuovo Record complete with High F lange hubs. I don’t think you would ever find a more quintessent ially Italian bike with a paint job this good. Available for $2500

A classic Cinelli SC with oiler port, 54cm center to top. This one was rep ainted in England in a classic orange. The bike sports Nuovo Record, Un iversal brakes with brass bolts and bar end shifters. Available for $300 0

A Miyata Team frame and fork without decals, 54cm center to center. Serial number is J830644. In good rider shape. Available for $275

A ustralian Speedwell Path Racer, pinstriped in the classic fashion, perhaps by a real grizzled alcoholic in the ultimate period correct touch. Beaut iful paintjob. Parts are a mish mash of period and not period correct. S till, a wonderful ‘country gentleman’s bike’ if suc h a thing exists. Available for $1200

A CDI in 53.5 cm center to cente r. CDI was a Texas based distributor that sold re-branded European bikes.

This is the quintessential one, a rebadged Liotto that is the epitome of Italian panache with serious racer intentions. Beautiful workmanship on this little oddity, original paint and Nuovo Record groupo with a Unicanit or saddle. Truly a classic race bike from the seventies. Available for $ 900

A 52cm Gitane Interclub frame, nickel plated with honeycombed dro pouts and Huret fork ends. The serial number is 4254344 and there is a ‘73’ engraved on the non drive side of the head tube and ‘60’ on the bottom. Really pretty and looks like it⠀™s never been built up. No decals. Available for $400.

Photos of all the bikes are can be seen at: http://tinyurl.com/4etzzm .

AOL u sers, pleased cut and paste this link: http://picasaweb.google.com/hschwar tzman into your browser.

Obviously, bikes marked ‘SOLD†™ on the page are not available for purchase.

I will be at T-town fr om opening at space 123 and 124 along the rider’s off ramp on the l awn, to your left as you come in. I will entertain offers prior to the s how if you’re interested in the bikes, but rest assured there is far less price flexibility now as there will be then.

This is just a taste! I will have plenty of on topic and off topic parts including rims, d erailleurs, seats etc. I may have other bikes too!

If you’r e at T town feel free to stop by and bring a beer if you do!
