Wayne/Wilson-

You're not the only ones. I've been trying to put together the same gruppo for some time. I long ago gave up on NOS as it got too pricey. I recently picked up the HF hubs on ebay.com.au for a descent price. Now all that is left is the original pedals. I have the newer superbe track that I am using in the interim. I was lucky enough to find an NOS Hatta made Superbe track HS last year in Japan, however the crown race was JIS, luck for me, so was my bike.

I outfitted my early 80's 3Rensho with the gruppo only to find the seatpost was 27.0, not 27.2, so now I'm on the hunt for that. I did have the Sugino version of the seatpost, the only difference being that it doesn't say superbe, so that will do for now.

So pedals, seatpost and the little decal that says "Superbe Racing Equipment" is all that is left for me. A listmember actually sold me that decal last year and I'm killing myself because it is nowhere to be found. I'm in the process of making repros.

My advice to both of you is to keep your eyes peeled on ebay aussie, the same week I bought mine, two other sets showed up for a reasonable price. I also know a guy who has a set of 28h if you would like his contact info, but these are not NOS. Strangely enough, I'd like to find the low flange version of the hubs, rather than the high that I have. I actually only need a rear, but prices!

Lastly, if anyone has a contact in Japan, there is a set of NOS Sunshine High flange track hubs currently listed. I'm almost positive that Sansin made both the Sunshine and Suntour hubs, they are identical except for the superbe mark.

Also, Wilson, if you are going period correct with your Naga, consider Araya Red NJS rims, a Nitto "racing stem" and Nitto Craft bars.

Good luck (to all of us)
