The Raleigh versions were identical with an R instead and were found on late '60's and early '70's Records and Grand Prix, IIRC they were also found on some Chopper versions. There were matching smaller versions for the seat tube clamp on both brands.

If I get some time later, I will wander down to the catacombs with camera and see if I can turn up some examples.
