Billy, I did plenty of the aero routing back in the day (regrettably) and the biggest drawback (other than making the aluminum bars dangerous) was the fact that performance just plain sucked, anyway you slice it. But man did it look cool, and of course with out all of that drag created by the cables it was faster. Stopping is for chumps ;). Keith

OK. So don't use SIS type housing for brakes. EVER. But just to be clear this stuff didn't exist 25 yrs. ago and Gary Page was just talking about the stiffest brake cable housing [presumably spirally wound] available. Billy Ketchum; Chicago, IL; USA.
