Subject: [CR]Loose pedal threads

Hi,

I noticed that on my Hetchins, when I screw the pedals into the cranks, they are very loose until I tighten the pedals. I.e. the threads in the cranks seem to be "loose" (same pedals thread into other cranks just fine, and other pedals thread into those cranks loose), hope this description makes sense. I can tighten them though, and then they seem ok - but definitely way too loose while going in. Because the cranks are Chater Lea I don't really think this is some other threading - but maybe it is? If so - any ideas what it can be? If the threads are just loose due to age/mistreating - is there a way to improve the situation somehow? Or maybe I should not worry about this at all, as after all the cranks are steel... your input is much appreciated.
