I noticed what looks like brake or gear cable housing running between the front and rear pedals. Those tandem riders out there know starting off is quite an act of synchronisation. We used Bunji cords to keep the pedals right side up (and thought we had come up with this in 1973 or so) Now I see this setup which makes me wonder when it did appear and what was used.

Another question, we came across a
couple of riders who had vintage interests and short of trying to

to potential fellow Vintage Riders (and CR members)?
