I think there were similar lamps sold in the USA by Berec?

They took two D cells and the rear was simple, rectangular & boxy thing with a clamp to bolt it onto the (right) seat-stay - we ride & drive on the left, remember!

The front slid/clipped onto the usual British front lamp bracket - be that on the (right) fork-leg or the stem/headset.
