ÁFAIK Alans are made from non weldable alloy. At best you'll destroy the heattreatment. The tubing is AA 7075 T8. and the lugs are heattreated too. How anyone expects to get a decent weld over a gluejoint is beyond me. With heat I suppose you could take the frame apart, but finding a Alan in one piece sounds cheaper and easier -- mvg
