I recently purchased two (2) modified Brooks B-17 Competition Standard sadd les from a French eBay seller, and am interested if anyone is familiar with the name "BARALE" stamped on the rivets of one of them.
Appears as if the same person or shop modified both saddles --- one has bee n uncut, but has larger "Team Pro" type rivets with BARALE stamped in three rivets. The other has definitely been cut or narrowed, but lacks any id entifying name on the large rivets. Apparently BARALE was a frame/bike manufacturer (at least that's what I fou nd in the archives). Did they, like Condor of England, get involved in s addle modification(s)???
Can anyone provide any information about BARALE saddles???
