Back awhile ago Dale Brown asked if any CR members had attended this and another regional show. One of my future Dec '08 framebuilding class students wrote this report for the Austin Bike Blog: <http://austinbikeblog.org/2008/11/06/the-birth-of-the-hand-built-bike-indu s try-in-texas/>

Two of the builders that showed have connections to me. Tim Massengill learned from me in the late Œ80s and has made a number of frames in my shop . He has set himself up to make frames part time in Texas. He also helps us with the annual Ukraine bike ride we do every year: http://www.ukrainebicycletours.com Jeremy Shlachter took one of my framebuildin g classes this year. Before he took mine, he also took a class from Yamaguchi. In addition he went over to Ukraine during September and Octobe r making frames for pastors. He has set himself up to build frames full time in Fort Worth under the trade name Gallus.
