The pic pointed out by Paul Williams is nice. http://tinyurl.com/5g9ryh If one maximizes the pic size, you can get a good look at the bike trailor. They used to very, very common, cycling was the main form of transport. As to what the bike is, could be anything, the framework says late thirties, but I'm probably wrong. There are still some lying around rusting in barns, but they become rarer and rarer because they're not sportsers, randonneurs or racers, so they get driven to the scrapyard. More work in restoring one of those that in rebuilding a Herse. One day we'll all wake up and say oh dear, weren't they sooo characteristic of the time, I wish we'd saved some.
