Picked the bike up this morning. Paint is a little rougher in areas than s ome of the photos made it appear, but over all still a good condition bik e that looks straight and worth the price paid. Some cleaning and gentle r ust removal and management is in the near future. Serial number is A956-59 0. Of the parts on the frame when I picked it up, I suspect the only pos sible remaining original part may be the Dura-Ace AX rear shifter as it is 3Rensho pantographed. Front shifter is a similar age Shimano 600 part. He adset is later Campagnolo, bottom bracket appears to be a Record. I'll l ikely build it up this weekend for some test rides with what parts I have a round, see how I like it. Not exactly what I was planning for my next pu rchase, but couldn't pass up the opportunity to try one of these out. In the very least it'll get a well deserved clean up before being passed alon g to someone who will treat this frame to the care and road time it deserve s.

The bottom bracket reinforcement and NSA crown sug gest mid-late 80s to me, but hard to say for sure.    I'm going to file it under KOF, but certainly of interest none the less.
I am currently looking at a 3Rensho Super Record Export, approx 58.5cm seat tube, 700c rear, 24" front wheel. Combination of lugs and fillet brazing, appears to be a campagnolo vertical drop-out, non-internal cab le routing. derailleur cables routed over the BB, no curved tubes. Fram e is in decent shape, I'd give the paint a 6 out of 10 from the photos I' ve seen. Hopefully some of what is there is just dirt and not paint damage . Itsone of those that I never expected to be actively looking for, but too good to pass up the opportunity for. Any insight and information on pr oduction year, etc would be helpful and appreciated as this one is truly outside my range of knowledge.http://i326.photobucket.com/albums/k436/churz o/DSC06211.jpghttp://i326.photobucket.com/albums/k436/churzo/DSC06217.jpght tp://i326.photobucket.com/albums/k436/churzo/DSC06223.jpghttp://i326.photob ucket.com/albums/k436/churzo/DSC06212.jpg Jon Fischer Dallas, Texas, USA http://velobase.com--------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------The Greatest Trophy of all is the sense of Ac complishment http://velobase.com | http://thecuda.com--- StripMime Report - - processed MIME parts ---multipart/alternative text/plain (text body -- ke pt) text/html---_______________________________________________Classicrende zvous mailing listClassicrendezvous@bikelist.orghttp://www.bikelist.org/mai lman/listinfo/classicrendezvous-- ---,+'^'+ sasha eysymontt sashae at gm ail dot com - http://subtle.org/se `+,.,+` new york city.
