Hello all,

I should briefly introduce myself, as I've been a longtime lurker and nev er posted before. I've always enjoyed learning from the communal knowledge of the CR list and am happy to be able to contribute at least a tidbit of knowledge to this particular question.

I have seen one chrome Cinelli in person. I don't own it but, if all goe s well, have hopes to acquire it later this winter. It's not currently fo r sale, but I hope to change the owner's mind.

In any event, it is fully chromed, and does have fender eyelets and thr ee-holed lugs. It has a 1970 NR gruppo, which seems relatively complete a nd there's no indication that it's not original. I'm not certain what the h eadbadge is made of, though I could post a very poor photograph that a mo re discerning viewer might be able to decipher. I hope that this tidbit he lps.

By way of introduction, I live in Chicago, and got back into cycling a few years back, after a 20 year hiatus. I decided that I wanted to buy a mid 80s Bianchi as a way of reliving my teenage years, and have since fa llen head over heels into vintage lightweights.

Currently, I have an '80 Olmo Professional, '85 Merckx, and an early 70s Rauler (repainted when I got it, without decals, serial #11 on drop outs, and with Colnago clovers cutouts on the fork tangs!). There are ce rtainly more to come.

Let me know if there's anything that anyone needs in Chicago.

Regards,

Bob Troy Chicago, IL, USA
