Subject: [CR]Was E-Bay threats, now deals gone sour in general and not selling to some buyers

It is not only E-Bay where deals go sour.I have one CR List member who has bought at least five bikes from me over the years and parts another half dozen times. This was either for stuff offered on the list or that he inquired if I might have some item I might sell him. I guess I could act in such a way as to cause a rift between us, I have never been stiffed out of money by the guy, but I sure have lost some sales opportunities saving something for him for weeks before he writes me (usually after several inquiries from me) and cancels as he always does. Maybe I'm just stupid to have dealt with him this much.

However, I'll just politely tell him the item is spoken for or something similar next time he wants something. A good friend used to say that Bullshit is the lubricity between social relationships, and he is often right. Seems like blocking sales to someone is a last ditch thing best done when other means have failed, but that is just my own take on it.
