The chainset on eBay appears to be a late 1950s outer chainring mis-matched with a somewhat later inner ring. The "correct" inner ring [ref. 12-bis] would have had the same web pattern as the outer ring down to the bolts connecting the two, and with no bracing ring following along the bolt circle.

Don, you are correct, the chainrings of this period did indeed mimic the chainrings rings of the model 57 Super Competition cranksets.

The model 63 crankset was the first Stronglight crank to use the more common hollow hexagonal bolts which accepted 5 mm hex-keys (like Campy) and the bolt holes were then enlarged to 10 mm. These rings were bored for 7 mm nuts and used simple solid hex-head bolts - as on the mod. 57.

This style of bolts were continued for a while longer (after 1963) on the model 49 chainrings, even after they changed the chainring style to the more familiar "star" pattern. Finally, they too were modified to use the hex-key style bolts.
