Good day all,

I offered this frame about a month ago to the list, but unfortunately the list member that got it, withdrew due to unforeseen circumstances. And since I have some time left before I fly to Thailand (and how much time is not certain, but probably not before end of the week), I can offer the frame again and take care of shipment.

This is a very nice, if not excellent, Gazelle frame and fork. Vintage is 1984, and at this time there was a somewhat newer style of decals: ther's only one, bigger, rainbowband on both downtube and seattube. Tubing is Reynolds 531 C throughout. This is the Champion Mondial AB-frame, a model most popular with amateur racers back in the day. The colour is what was called 'Gazelle blue', the non-metallic blue Gazelle carried for a long time (the metallic blue was called 'Brussels blue'). This frame has a chromed front fork, with a panto'd gazelle in the fork crown. Also the drive side chainstay, the rear dropouts, and a bit of the driveside seatstay are chromed. This must have been customer ordered. Condition of paint and chrome is excellent, with two exceptions: some light scratches on the top of the downtube, more or less between the gearlever bosses, and a scratch in the chrome of the righthand fork leg, about 4 inches below the 531 decal. Everything else, chrome and paint, is in really nice condition.

Geometry info:

- seattube: 54 c-t - toptube: 54 c-c - wheelbase: 980 mm - rear spacing: 125 mm

The frame has an English threaded bb, and of course accepts a 27.2 mm seatpost. The Zeus headset is included; this is a funny one, I've never seen angular Zeus headset like this, maybe the list can help here? BTW, the headset is in good condition.

I'm asking 200 usd for the frame, shipping to the US (Priority, insured, trackable and well-packed) is 95 usd. I can only accept paypal: faro@cistron.nl.

Ask anything you want to know, and as usual small parts to complete the build are always available.
